If your transferee has never moved with a professional moving company, like Imlach Group, they may have several questions about how the move takes place.

We start by assigning your transferees one of our highly knowledgeable customer service representatives (CSRs) who will be their go-to person during the move. Usually, within minutes of notification of their upcoming move, the CSR will contact the transferee to introduce themselves and learn about their move details and specific needs.

The CSR will walk them through every detail of the moving checklist, coordinate packing dates, schedule their preferred pickup and delivery dates with the crew, work through any change of plans, and answer any questions they may have throughout the process.

We keep in touch with your transferee during every step of the move and keep detailed records so every member of our relocation team – from customer service to dispatch and operations – is on the same page.

Our highly skilled crew members are rigorously background checked before and during employment so your transferees can be assured there’s no stranger in their home. They will pack their items with care to keep everything safe and protected during the move. In the unlikely event that items are lost, damaged or destroyed, Imlach will work with the transferee to repair or replace the items in a fast, fair and friendly manner. We provide all customers with $0.60 per pound per item and offer other options with greater coverage, including full protection valuation. If your transferee would prefer to pack their own boxes, we can also provide them with necessary packing materials.
